Sarah Dixon

With over 30 years’ of diverse industry experience in both local and international roles, Sarah’s career demonstrates a track record in strategy implementation, organisation and culture change, and capability development. Having worked in rail for 15 years, she is now applying her experience in large scale change and transformation programs with operational and capital delivery success into her new role as Executive General Manager Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery at Seqwater.

In Sarah’s 11 years at Aurizon and more recent 4 years at Queensland Rail, she has led teams across all facets of rail. She moved into operational leadership after assisting with the separation and sale of QR National (now known as Aurizon), establishing the Investor Relations function for the newly listed ASX50 organisation.

In every role, Sarah has used her transformation and stakeholder engagement capabilities to achieve significant outcomes such as establishing stronger supply chain connections for the network operations across Aurizon’s Central Queensland Coal Network, turnaround of the Bulk general freight business in Queensland, and implementation of an ISO55001 aligned asset management framework across all assets supporting Citytrain services in Queensland Rail.

A values based executive leader, Sarah is skilled at establishing and sharing strategic vision to deliver sustained operational and commercial performance. Having worked across multiple industries, Sarah knows how to adapt and apply her core skills in Operations Management, Leadership Development, Inbound and Outbound Supply Chains, and Transformational Change.

 

Rachel Adair

Rachel has been a Non-Executive Director of MOVE Bank for 3 years. During that time she has been a member of the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Risk Management Committee. Rachel is seeking re-appointment as a Non-Executive Director.

Rachel is a Chartered Accountant by profession, with over 10 years of local and international finance experience with PwC and Aurizon. She has been with Aurizon for over 8 years and is currently Head of Finance Bulk. Aurizon’s Bulk business provides integrated supply chain services including rail and road transportation, port services and material handling for customers across Australia. In this role she is focused on supporting, advising and influencing financial, strategic, commercial and operational decisions. Rachel leads a diverse finance team and is part of the Bulk Senior Leadership Team and the Aurizon Executive Leadership Team. She brings a deep connection to the rail industry to her role as a Director at MOVE Bank. Rachel is passionate about contributing to the development of MOVE Bank to continue to drive value for the benefit of its members.
