Thank you to all members who took part in this year’s Christmas Appeal and made it a success.
Our Christmas Appeal aimed to give back to the organisations that are supporting those who need it most this Christmas.
Running from 9 December to 15 December, when members voted to support one of the below causes MOVE Bank donated $2 to the chosen charity. We also supercharged our donation to $5 for every nomination in the last 24 hours of the appeal.
Based off member nominations MOVE Bank donated a total of $1276 to the Australian Mutuals Foundation’s Christmas Gift Appeal, Foodbank Australia and Beyond Blue.
By nominating a charity and paying it forward, members also went into the draw to win a $100 e-gift card, which was won by Mick from Rockhampton.
In the year ahead we will continue to engage with members about the causes that matter most to them. Once again, thank you to all members for your support.

Australian Mutuals Foundation’s Christmas Gift Appeal
AMF is supporting Barnardos Australia’s Gifts for Kids Christmas Gift Appeal which aims to give 10,000 gifts to disadvantaged kids. Donations will help ensure that every child in Barnardos Australia’s care has a gift to unwrap this year.
Foodbank Australia
Christmas is a magical time of year; however this is not the case for many Australians who've faced a year of hardship and are struggling to put food on the table. Donations will help Foodbank Australia provide food to those in need.
Beyond Blue
Beyond Blue is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by anxiety, depression and suicide – and creating change to protect everyone’s mental health. Donations will help provide a range of support and services for those struggling.
