Please be aware that Australia's mobile network operators recently switched off their 3G networks.
Telstra and Optus switched off their 3G networks on 28 October 2024. TPG Telecom/Vodafone had already switched off its 3G network prior to this date.
What does this change mean for you?
If you have a mobile device that is not compatible with the newer 4G or 5G networks, you will be unable to make/receive voice calls or send/receive SMS messages. If you are experiencing any issues with your mobile service, we recommend that you contact your mobile service provider to ensure you remain connected.
