We are making some changes to our Conditions of Use, effective 31 January 2025.
A summary of the changes is outlined below:
- Financial abuse amendments
A bank is no place for financial abuse. MOVE Bank has joined with many other organisations by updating our conditions of use to ensure that we can take action when we become aware that an account is being used to perpetuate domestic or financial abuse. - Anti-scam provisions
We have also strengthened our ability to return funds to other institutions where they are able to provide us with compelling evidence that the funds were sent as part of a scam or other illegal activity. - Timeframe for end of month
We have clarified the time when we run end of month processes to consider interest and fees. - Removed certain default restrictions around joint accounts
We have removed certain default joint account restrictions in line with how our members ordinarily want to bank with us. - Changes to support our new Payto service
In November we launched our brand new PayTo service, and our terms and conditions have changed in support of the new. For more information about PayTo, visit: https://movebank.com.au/payto
