When will DocuSign® be launched?

We launched DocuSign® on Monday 5 June 2023    

What do I need to do in readiness?

An updated Credit Information Consent form was recently uploaded to the MOVE Broker Hub and also Loan App, which provides consent for loan documents to be issued via DocuSign®.   If you already have an application with us that includes the previous form, and wish for documents to be issued by DocuSign® following the launch date, you will need to have the new form signed by all Borrowers and provide to MOVE. Up until the launch date all documents will be issued via post or email, dependent on your instructions.  

Do all new documentation packs have to be issued by DocuSign®?

For those applications already in the system, and you do not wish documents to be issued via DocuSign following launch, you can still have them issued by post or email. For all new applications received after the launch date, DocuSign® will be the default delivery method. Feel free to discuss any alternative delivery method request with your MOVE Broker Lending Consultant.    

How will our clients know when a DocuSign® pack has issued?

After our settlement agent has prepared the documents (currently LegalStream) they will trigger a separate email to all Borrowers advising there are documents ready to be signed. Each Borrower will need to initiate the one-time pass code to their mobile phone. Once that pass code has been correctly entered, the system will automatically move to the beginning of the document pack.  

Under DocuSign®, can all documents be digitally signed?

All Mortgages and Witness Certificates (regardless of the state of the security) will still need to be printed and originally signed with blue or black pen. This will also be the case for some other titles office documents, such as Queensland Changes of Name. Clear instructions on which documents must be printed single-sided and originally signed will be outlined in the document pack. These originals will need to be returned to our settlement agent before settlement can be affected.  

Which transactions will be included in the DocuSign® delivery method?

All loans that require a new mortgage to MOVE Bank will be included in the DocuSign process.

Can Borrowers attach other documents to DocuSign®?

Yes, borrowers can attach certificates of currency of building insurance, together with any other documents that may be required prior to settlement. These may include special conditions such as evidence of closure of accounts etc.
